If you blacklisted nouveau out in /etc/modprobe.d/nf then you need to take it out and restart your desktop. I went back to using the default nouveau driver for my card. First thing I did to fix all the problems with swrast errors, black screen, and shadows that I have come accross has been to remove the nvidia driver. I'm on Fedora 18 with a Nvidia GTX 460 and use all updates from the fusion, fedora, and wine repos.

It might just be that I'm lacking the 32bit libgl stuff but in light of your post above, I'm disinclined to install them because I use this computer for other things for which I need nvidia's drivers and it seems like it doesn't automatically fix the problem.
